WHAT: Join us for the Orange County Beach Cities sixteen stake 30+ Singles Devotional featuring Brett Stewart, conductor, composer, pianist and vocalist as well as Director of our own Orange County Mormon Choral Organization (OCMCO). He is also the Director of the East Valley Mormon Choral Organization in Arizona and recently wrote the first Oratorio in this century for the LDS Church (Messiah in America ) which was performed by the OCMCO Choir and Symphony this last spring to sold out audiences. So Cal SINGLE ADULT PROGRESSIVE MARATHON

WHEN: START TODAY ~ CELEBRATION AND AWARD DINNER IN OCTOBER

DETAILS: Progressive Marathon participants walk or run a cumulative total of 26.2 miles over a period of weeks and keep track of their miles on the Mileage Log/Interval Sheet. (You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, to download go to http://get.adobe.com/reader/)

Finishers receive a genuine Marathon finisher’s medal to be awarded at a Celebration Dinner in Irvine, California.

GENERAL RELIEF SOCIETY MEETING

DETAILS: Join us for an evening of uplifting messages and a delicious meal. Please bring soup or a pie to share.

During the General Relief Society Meeting a message will be delivered by a member of the First Presidency and members of the Relief Society general presidency. The meeting originates from the Conference Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. The talks given at the annual general Relief Society meeting are published as part of the general conference issue of the Church magazines.

If you have Internet access, you can help people all over the world find their ancestors by indexing, a simple process of typing the names and information found in historical documents into easy to use forms, from which, online searchable databases will be created. Indexing is a wonderful way of assisting in the genealogical effort and anyone 13 years or older can help.

Indexing genealogical records is a monumental task, but with everyone's help, it can be done.
